English lenguage challenges

Hello everybody!! This chapter in my blog is very important because it is the last, for this reason I will evaluate my experience learning English at university and my challenge about this language for the future.

Well, my experience learning English at university had doing a little difficult because I hadn't a good basis. In the school, I had a bad English teacher that caused me a rejection to the english language. For mi luck, The first English teacher I had at university was very good and she helped me to stop feeling rejection to English and change my perception of this language. This have been very important for me. 

But even so, for me has been difficult learn English here because in the schedule of the class I feel tired and in this conditions, I think is unproductive learn English or whatever.
About the classes, I think that is a good resource writte a blog because is more easy concentrate and learn vocabulary, but I think is necessary complement with more oral exercises.

As I feel I didn't take advantage of this classes, when I graduate at the university I would like to practice reading and watching movies in English, for improve the pronunciation and can to listen and understand when someone talk me in this language, because I think that this form really I integrate the English language.  And when this will happen I will can read many articles and books I like and it is written only in English and I will not feel limite. I would like this happen for I can have more points of view and like that I go improve my work.

Changes to my study programme

Well, I will write about a delicate matter. In all these years of career, I have been able to analyze my career, from the curriculum to infrastructure. So, now I 'm going to talk the aspects I would like change in my career.

Talk about this matter is easy because my career has many deficient aspects and they are important to the development to the bachelor of arts.

In the infrastructure I change the roof because this is of a toxic material and I would put braid for we don't feel hot, because sometimes the hot is unbearable. Also, I change the politic of the career and I would set up the politic of keep of furniture as lecterns or spotlight. 

Of the curriculum, I would put the composition subject, because I see that there is deficiency in this matter. Also, I think it would be good we have theoretical subjects more demanding and more profound as in Arcis university.

I think that the teachers would must study pedagogy because there are many teachers don't have method of teaching, and a fews, I think they must to go to psychologist because their imbalance affect the classes.

Finally, I believe that the university would must have a preoccupation of graduates, and I think that the university and more specific, the art faculty would must create and keep a space where the graduates can to continue dialoguing for the career have other view that help its emprovement and also a space where the facult support in the diffusion of the works of the graduates.

summer Holidays

Hi ! now I will tell you about a matter that I have been thinking this last time because the summer holidays are near.

I don't now if I can go on next vacation because I don't have money but this situation doesn't impede me to dream.

The first place I think is the Conguillio national park, place that I went the last summer holidays and I am in love with that place. As I think being in love is a state very nice but also it is a state that it has the potential to create illusory images. For them, I have thought in other place to know. This is Buenos Aires.

I don't usually choose city as a destination for my vacation but I would like to visit this city because there lives my best friend. "Tito" lives in Buenos Aires since 2014. He went to Argentina following an Argentine that he fell in love with. Now they have two daughters, they are twins and I am their godmother. I have never visited them and I would like to do.

I don't know when I can go but I know that I will go sometime. When I can go to Argentina, on top of visit to my best friend and family, I would like to visit the museums because It has pieces of art of important artists. Also, I will buy a lot of books and I will eat many pizzas. I would like to go for more of a week for enjoy with peaceful.

A favourite picture of me

Well, I really don't like my pictures because I'm a few shameful but there is a picture I like because I love this landscape, of the north of Chile and also because it remember me the trip in car to Bolivia with my family.
This picture was taken when we went from Iquique to Oruro fot the way to Colchane, specifically when in this tour stoped when we where at the foot of mountain, in the entry to the Tarapaca ravine. This ravine have many smalls towns, inhabited by old people. It's very peaceful except when celebrate their religious party. It's the moment in the year when the streets are full of people and music.
I knew thia place when I was a child and participed of the scouts. I believe that my first camping whith the scouts was in this place but I sure that it is a first place I like in middle of so much aridity because it has vegetation, well and the hills are really beautiful. It's a place very agreeable although it's so hot.
I don't remember how long it took us to get to Oruro, only I have memories of landscape of Chile and Bolivia.
In Oruro I, my sister and my brother enjoyed knowing the city but my parents couldn't because my mother got sick. For this reason we were few days in Bolivia.

Now, when I see the picture I feel wishes of travel with my family in car to any place. Only I like to travel with they.

My future job

Well, today I 'm going to talk about a delicate matter. The last time I 've been thinking because this is my last year in my career and it is about time to work.

At university, I've taken visual arts bachelor. I taked this career because I was curious about art. I intuited the art was not I learned in the school. I wasn't wrong. The art is really strange, I feel I still do not understand very well. For this reason, I 'm not convinced work as an artist. For me is more real continue work as yoga teacher for children. I work in this before of study at university.

I like my work and I would like continue because I like teach to children, they are funny and always surprise me. I enjoy the class although I have a lot of gray for the time that make me rage.

Even so, I would like have other work. Maybe, I will work in a pottery workshop where make objects to sell. I like this idea because I love the pottery. I met when I had the pottery subject in the career and I discovered its magic, because the result always is a surprise.

If this does not happen, only I would like work with nice people, have a good salary, not to exploit me and not stop learning...

My favourite music album

Hi today I'm going to talk about a great album named "Alturas de Machu pichu" of the musical group Los Jaivas, released in 1981.

The album has the same name that the poem of Pablo Neruda because this poem was the inspiration for the group. The poem was written when Neruda visited Machu pichu and it was published in 1950.

This album was born of the idea of Daniel Camina, a Peruvian musical producer. He proposed to the group to make this album and made a film where the musicians played in Machu Pichu. The group was delayed 9 months to create "Alturas de Machu Pichu". For this film, they have to put the piano in an helicopter and was prensented by Mario Vargas Llosa.

I think that the experience of these musicians is a luxury, because now nobody can be uncroweded at this location and less play music. I think that above all for the pianist was a luxuury because I think is a madness to climb a piano.


Well, I know this album since I was a child, when I travelled in the car with my family and we listened to them to not get bored.

I like this album because I feel calm and I active my imagination. The music really transports me to Machu Pichu, place I would like to visit.

A favourite piece of art

Well, In the art I like the pieces with politic critiques as the pieces of Santiago Sierra. But, in this occasion I 'm going to talk about "Tucuman Arde", a piece of art created the year 1968 in Rosario, Argentina, for a multidisciplinary colective. The members were artists, sociologists, students, etc. 

In this time, Argentina lived a dictatorship that closed the factorys in Tucuman. It generated poverty of the workers and their families that the mass media not informed. Waht's more, the artists were exploring the limits of arts, questioning the art's institution. In this context, this colective decided to use the situation grave of Tucuman peolple for criticise the dictatorship as the art.

The piece consisted of 3 parts. In the first part, a group of the colective went to Tucuman from Rosario for meet the reality politics and social of the people. There they filmed, interviewed, photographed and surveied to the jobless, children and women, documents for a exposition in a sindical place. Meanwhile in Rosario, other group did propaganda in the street for a week with stencil that only said "Tucuman Arde" and also they pasted poster that said " 1º bienal de arte de vanguardia". Then this week of propaganda, in a sindical seat  they inaugurated the exposition. All the walls had photograph, information of desnutrition of childrens, etc. Also served coffee without sugar. The exhibition dured two weeks and was very successful.

This work I knew in a subject oh latinoamercan art. I liked because it is in a delicate limit between the art and the political, a uncomfortable space.

My best holidays!

This thursday, I'm going to talk about my best holidays, that was this summer.


The last year in the english class I talk of my best holidays in the Conguillio park,  in 2012. So, this year I traveled to the same place, but finally all functioned very good. Rained a few and not as the 2012.

I went with my boyfriend and we camped 7 days. During the day It was very hot but in the night we had to put on all the clothes because it was very cold because this park it's locate in the mountain, in the 9º region.

The park is called Conguillio for the name of the lake of the park. The name sense "piñon wather" in maputhungün. and this lake it's surrounded for the Llaima volcano and the "Sierra nevada". This place I visited after a walk of 5 hours. When I arrived I was exhausted and happy because the view was beautiful. Also, I could to be near of a glacier and saw 3 condor.

General, we trekked all day and almost all days. Only one day we rested in the beach of lake.

I would like come back because I want to walk a track that I couldn't go.

A country I'd like to visit

Hi people, today I'm going to talk about a country I would like visit. This country is Cuba.

I believe I know about Cuba since I went to the school, when I had to study about the Cold War, the cuban revolution and the consequences of the blockade of USA. About this situation I called my attention the politic system. I have listen that the cuban the the cuban state delivers the same portion of food for all the people, also have a system of health and education free and really good. This I like a lot because in Chile this social rights are very precarious.

Also, I like the cuban music for example "Buena vista social club". I like so much that I decided go to the dance afrocuban. This dance is difficult although don't apparent. I perspired much.

From some time ago I tried to play the trombone, but I couldn't to folow to study because I hadn't money for pay it and time for study. For this reason, when I graduate of the university I would llike raise the money and travel to Cuba to study music because there are good schools of music and I would like learn to play cuban music as Timba.

This picture is of the cuban capital, "La Habana". I like It have an appearence of ruins because is as  travel in the time.
